Color Space Test using Breezebrowser
This test is designed to illustrate the difference between converting
from raw to either Adobe RGB or sRGB. The difference is slight, so I've
designed this page to change the image when the mouse goes over the image.
When the mouse is over the image, you are looking at the sRGB image. When
the mouse is NOT over the image, you are looking at the Adobe RGB image.
The following steps were used to process the image.
Normal 16 bit conversion (as opposed to linear or comined)
Cloudy color balance
Sat: Normal
Contr: Low2
Sharpness: No sharpening
Adobe RGB
- Crop image
- Assign Adobe RGB color space
- Resize image
- Apply USM using radius 0.3, amount 500, threshold 0
- Convert to sRGB
- Convert to 8 bit
- Save as JPG using quality 10
sRGB
- Crop image
- Assign sRGB color space
- Resize image
- Apply USM using radius 0.3, amount 500, threshold 0
- Convert to sRGB (already in this color space, but I did this step anyway)
- Covnert to 8 bit
- Save as JPG using quality 10
I have added a supplement to this test where no resizing or USM is performed.
