Sketch of Alternative Negative Scanning Technique

The first image is a default scan made on a Nikon LS-1000 using the negative scan option.
The next image is a default scan but with the prescan turned off. There is virtually no difference between the scans for this particular negative.
This image is a default negative scan with white/blackpoints set after preview.
