Hair (what else?!?)

I just came back from vacation and you guys have been going post-happy! You know, every time I go to Hawaii, I can't help admiring the native's hair there. It's so thick and luxurious and a lot of guys dare to grow it very long. Some do look somewhat androgenous, but they're nothing wrong with a "pretty boy". ^_^
Also, even though I live in California, most people here who do have blond hair are like, yellow blond. In Hawaii, (Maui), a lot of people's hair, through the combination of ocean salts and sun, turns pale blond. But it's also brittle and most of them have split ends. Now, my hair is long and platinum blond, so people talk to me about it a lot. When I answer their questions and give them hair advice, they go: "oh, it's too much work! too many things to avoid! forget it!" That really surprises me every time how so many people could have beautiful hair but chose not to because it's not worth the trouble. And they wonder why the native guys there are the ones who get the girls...
