HAIR

This message is to all of us going into, out of, or planted firmly in the middle of, the awkward stage. My counsel is to let go of the rigid ideas of what you're supposed to look like and remember that you're growing your hair long because that is what YOU want to do. I want to grow my hair long so that people will hopefully assume I AM NOT CORPORATE and I care more about living close to the earth and being myself than conforming to mainstream society's notions of what is good and proper for a man and for a person. If my hair right now tests the limits of good taste and vanity, then good.

This is EXACTLY the reason that I have continued to grow my hair...awkward stage or not...I AM NOT CORPORATE! ...nor will I ever be corporate! I will not be sold into the conforming masses. Great message Charlie.
