I have let my hair grow out from super short to where it now reaches my chest area. I would love to try out curls now. Does anyone know of a haidresser in Boston that could help me. I am not sure of the styles but perhaps that person could help me also.

I've had good luck with a stylist named Gretchen at the Dellaria Salon at the North Shore Mall in Peabody. My hair isn't as long as your's but she has been helpful in my growing it out to where it is and continuing.
If you need to something more in town, I've noticed several of the male stylists on Newbury Street have long hair, but they are expensive.
Hope that helps.

I should have added: BR Gallagher (a regular contributor to this board) runs a shop in Portsmouth NH called Manstyle I believe. I'm told he's worth the trip, if you have the wheels.
all best
