It is taking seemingly forever, but my hair is finally coming in. It's long enough in the back to be pulled back in a very small ponytail, or kitcarson as I've heard them called.
Besides washing and conditioning once every day or two, I haven't done much in the way of herbs or other chemicals/treatments. It's been growing around 1/2 inch per month - bout the average rate. I certainly have avoided the salons/barbers, but I think I may want to consider going in for a light trimming sometime soon (to get the deadends off).
To anyone who recently cut theirs off and is now regretting the decision -- hang in there, it takes time but your hair will grow out again.
