Anxiously awaiting ponytail length

Hey guys:
In February I will be entering my 8th month of hair growth(I can't believe I made it to this stage!) I'm wondering roughly how much longer I have until I can put my hair in a ponytail. My hair is going crazy now, and I can't even style it. However, if I do get it styled, as soon as I walk outside the wind blows it all over the place. Thanks in advance.

Carlos,
Have you tried hair, skin and nails? I cut 7 inches off my hair last April with regret. I started it taking this vitamin and my hair has grown back to it's original length. I would say that in another 4 months you will be close to putting your hair in a pony tail. Hang in there! Just enjoy now, take pictures of your hair, you will laugh later! I almost cut my hair short and if I would of, I would
have been growing mine out now also. I would have been in the 9 month.
Good Luck!

Darrin........where do you get this Hair, Skin, and Nails stuff?
I've heard other guys talking about it before but have never really monitored the results they got from using it. I'm using Grape Seed Extract and Flax Seed Oil which someone had suggested before as a good source of nutrients for hair. I'm in Canada and perhaps this is why I've never seen the product you mentioned but I'd like to give it a try.
Thanks.......Dave

Dave,
You can purchase Skin, Hair and Nails at most Health food and supplement stores. GNC carries in in the states. I live in NY state,
60 miles North of NYC. I purchase mine in Poughkeepsie, NY at Stimpson's House of Nutrition.
Good Luck!

Walgreens carries Skin,Hair, & Nails; cost is about $7.00/60 (3/day) or $21 for 60-day supply. GNC carries Ultra Hair Nourish for Men, 60-day supply about $18. About the same set of vitamins in both, Biotin probably the most important from what I have read.
Since I'm growing my hair out for the first time, I don't have a really good basis for comparing the two. I've been getting about 50% better growth rate than the average 6 inches/month, but my hair is still relatively short (3.5 inches off nape, about mid-ear on sides) and hard to measure accurately. Do not know for certain if the Ultra Hair Nourish is responsible for the growth rate, or if it's just me. YMMV!

Dick, Have you noticed any chnages in strength, moisture, frizz, or anything at all? I would really like to know what else the stuff does. Thanks for the pricing info, much appreciated. slacker

Not really. I'm losing less hair now than I used to, partly because I'm treating it more gently. Perhaps my hair's a bit more coarse-feeling after a couple of days between washing than I remember, But that may simply be due to having more to notice!
Thing I like about these preparations, is they contain normal vitamin supplements whose general effects are fairly well known and published. I do spread them through the day, since the B-vitamins (like Vitamin C) are not stored by by the body from what I read. Thus, as long as one is not mega-dosing, it would seem more likely to keep a steady concentration by not taking an entire days' dose at one time (in the morning, say).
