1 month as of this coming Sunday...

Yeah, been a month since the sis went nuts and hacked my ponytail off... In that time, I've gone from 3.5-3.75" to 4.75-5" length in the back, I finally can part the hair at the front without it sticking straight up, and I can finally wear a small bun a little bit above the ears in the back. Looks like the Biotin 600 works, but you might want to take one in the morning and one in the evening. (double the dose, in other words)

John, wow it's growing back really fast! Have you noticed any difference in the texture or character of your hair in relation to growing it with Biotin 600 compared to without, ie., more manageable, less manageable, more puffy, less puffy, more straight or more curly, etc..............

Randy, the only difference I've noticed is that it's darker in color. Usually, I am a dark blond, but now, I'm a medium brown, which is fine with me...

...and are you talking to her yet?
I've been trying the Biotin the way you suggested. It comes in doses of 300mcg from my GNC (that's all they have here in Canada). I've been taking one every 8 hours like clockwork as well as other vitamins. I'm also taking HF37 (3 step1 and 6 step2) and also Saw-Palmeto. I'm determined to get my hair to my waist.
I can't say that I see it growing any faster but it's too early yo tell yet as it's only been 3 weeks since I started this regime of vitamins. I'll give it more time.

Yes, Dave, I am talking to her, but she understands that I am growing it out and it's something that she cannot change about me.

Has the Biotin made your hair more or less frizzy, more or less dry, more or less soft, or any other effects at all? Please fill me in on any effect, no matter how miniscule.

Maybe a little more oily. It also looks a little darker.

Anything which is not legally prohibited by law is legal. It is legal for adult, American civilians to wear our hair in whatever way we wish. However, there are too many bigots who want us to fit into their perceptions of what men and women should be. These bigots believe that it is ok for them to make sure that everyone looks, thinks, and acts alike, just like in the novel 1984.
When everyone think, or looks, alike, no one thinks. We become sheep, awaiting to be sheared.
What can we do?
In "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, Chapter VII, A mad tea party, the following exchange was written.
"Your hair wants cutting," said the Hatter. He had been looking at Alice for some time with great curiosity, and this was his first speech.
"You should learn not to make personal remarks," Alice said with some severity" "It's very rude."
I used this on a ill-tempered relative, in front of her children, and she has not bothered me about my long hair since. :)
Perhaps, we can create a long list of these rebuttals that are civil and courteous, stand up for our rights, while exposing the bigots for the authoritarian totalitarians they are!
Does anyone else have any other rebuttals that have worked for them?
May the length and style of your hair always be your own choice!

Hmmm, good point. At the same time, it might not work with my family, which is pretty screwed up in this respect.

Confucius wrote that one must be genuine and true to your own nature.
Part of my "genuine personal nature" is to have long hair.
If I cut my long hair, I would no longer be myself.
Moreover, do you see a pattern in how the bigoted people treat you?
My ill-tempered sister calls my brother Jim, who is 30 years old and also wears long hair, Jimmy.
My brother wants to be called Jim or James, but never Jimmy.
Yet, our sister calls persists in calling his Jimmy!
This is like the Japanese adding the ending ( -chan ) to the end of the name of a small child.
She is telling my brother Jim (I am an adult, you are a child!)
If you point this out to some people they may stop asking you to cut your hair and start respecting you as an adult.
Unfortunately, some of the bigots, like our (my way or the highway) sister, will never learn to respect other people. :(

You know what, that does sound VERY familiar. Both my sister and my mother call my "Johnny". "Hello!, my name is John, not Johnny". So, yes, I should point that out.
