hide your long hair under a wig???

I have waist length hair, which single length and very soft. I need to be out of US for two weeks, where is much more conservative. I like to hide my long hair in several times in my trip. Is anyone who has experience to hide your long hair under a wig? Please help and thanks. I love my long hair so much and it has took me more than three years to get my current length.

Gene:
This topic was discussed back in November, where Walter showed several pictures of his solution to a problem he was having with his employer, an airline. I took the liberty of merging both of his archived photos together here so you could easily see the before and after effect.
One thing you will need to think carefully about is your passport photo. How much from your 'real self' can your picture deviate without attracting too much scrutiny at the borders? If all you want to do is hide your hair once your are in the country, then by all means you can travel without wearing the wig and drawing too much attention to yourself.
Lots of good online resources for purchasing such a wig. Use a good search engine and you'll get lots of hits.

: Well Gene, if I were you I would take the pic in your passaport with your hair down, showing your ears, which is one important part to identify you as yourself. People who works for immigration in general have their ways to match your picture with yourself. Anyway I would enter a country with my natural hair to avoid problems. By the way, where are you going to?
