Hair straightener frizz

I'm using the ConAir steam straightener now on my hair. I can get my hair perfectly straight with one problem...It turns frizzy after about 5 minutes. Anyone have any advice on product to use with a straightening iron? Thanks.

First, I used the Conair straight styler myself. I was terribly disappointed with it, so much so that I took it back. The steam didn't seem to do anything. I would consider my hair naturally wavy, but not curly. I now use a professional straightening iron called "The Hot Tools Professional". You can find it over the internet. IT is far superior to any straightening iron that I've used.
As for your frizz after the iron, see my latest frizz message posted on this board.
Here are some other options you can consider, safflower oil, using a few drops and smoothing it on the hair once it is dry and then brushing the hair. This usually only needs to be done once a week. However, I think it is best to do it after every washing.
Frizz Ease Serum has yielded moderately successful results for me.
I think the only sure fire way of eliminating frizz is through a humectant based product like frizz ease serum which you smooth on the hair when it is sopping wet, and the blowing it completely dry. Very time consuming process which I do not think is worthwhile.
Finally, never towel dry your hair by rubbing it. You either have to blow dry it, or let it air dry with the towel in tourbon style on your head.
