Thing About Straightening Irons

These things supposedly keep your hair straight till the next wash, right? Well, I found out that even getting your hair wet will make it wavy or curly again. The straightening iron will make it nice and straight, but it dries it out somewhat. I thought water would help that, and it did but made it look like I hadn't even used the iron. So, my point is, if you want to use the straightening iron, make sure to keep your hair dry afterwards or it will go right back to normal.
