Greased back ponytails

Is there anyone out there who heavily gel their hair back into a ponytail? Also love to hear from guys who are into this look, as well. E-mail your thoughts and pics. Love to chat with ya.

No, but I REALLY need to learn how to do that because starting today I have to wear a hairnet or ponytail my hair, and its really not all that long I dont think....

Not yet for me, as I'm still growing my hair out, and only can manage a little stub... God, I've grown curly-hair for 9 months now, and it still hasn't reach shoulder line. ARRGGHHH!
I dream of the day I get a ponytail...

I've been growing mine out for 10 months and the hair in front has only reached the tip of my nose =/ I guess I have about a year left until I can put it all in a ponytail.. I just started taking biotin though, so hopefully it'll take less time :-)

I can totally relate. I've been growing my hair out for 6-9 months. I don't recall exactly the last time I cut it. But it's so curly, and I was starting from a shaved head, so it's taking a long time to get any length.
What's most frustrating is I've reached this wierd length that looks very old fashioned (as in 1800 or so) and is not terribly flattering.
Any suggestions on what to do in the meantime?

I use a lot of gel to hold my curly hair in place when I'm out.
At home I use Barrettes. My last haircut was in November (6 months ago). Can't wait to get a ponytail. Gel works pretty well with my
hair.
