How many of you guys have ever seen the show "The Sentinel"?
Blair Sandburg, a young long haired post college grad assists a cop, Detective James Ellison in apprehending criminals and solving murders.
this was one of my favorite shows during the late 1990's and I was sad to see it discontinued, however I manage to catch a rerun now and then.
I was just curious if there are any long haired men on this board who have worked with Law enforcement, or that know of some Men who do that happen to have long hair.
We need more guys like Blair Sandburg to help change the negative stereotypes of the past.

Alan: I once came across a page showing a cop with long hair and a beard. Actually, that's a disguise to catch UNSUSPECTING drug dealers who think that they are dealing with bikers, etc.
It's not unusual for undercover cops to have long hair, so that they can mingle in the `hippy' crowd and catch unsuspecting drug dealers. You see long-haired undercover narcotics officers on the COPS television show all the time!

I'm a Software Engineer. I'm also a part-time actor. I worked quite a bit on Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman. They specifically were looking for long haired extras for the show.

My dad is ex-Navy. He gave up on stopping me from growing LH but told me that I better be on better behavior than some kids. People are always looking for you to F@#% up when you have LH. I have made a few Bux as a drug infomant for the police and have located for a couple of my guitar students' parents where some dirtballs were selling drugs to very young teens. I support Legalization of Marij., but am real down on kids younger than college experimenting. The stuff I did for the cops involved Crack and some real idiots and loosers went away for a while.

There's supposed to be a drug officer in the next county (KY.) with long hair.
Also, have you seen that Navy SEAL who writes those SEAL adventure novels? Don't know his name right off...(by the power of the internet!)Richard Marcinko-Rogue Warrior series. He has a ponytail.
Have you seen Air Force One with Harrison Ford? The guy who cables to to the plane at the end was on Entertainment Tonight-he's an ex-Ranger or something, and runs some kind of Hollywood boot camp thing(and has a ponytail). Last name sounds like "shlok" or something.
