I think these songs may support long hair--I have doubts because I can't view the lyrics because a greedy monopolist must have bought then screwed up the www.lyrics.ch web site. Because commercial record companies are so G. D. greedy, I suggest don't buy these songs, just listen to them.
group: Beatles
album/CD: Abby Road
song: Come Together
lyrics "He has hair down to his knees"
group: Tesla
album/CD: Five Man Acoustical Jam
song: Signs
lyrics: "Now you have a long hair working for you"

: Here's another off of Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever album called Zombie Zoo:
Sometimes your so impulsive, you shaved off all of your hair,
You look like Boris Karloff, and you don't even care,
Dancing at the Zombie Zoo..........

it sounds like you might be thinking about the song "Uneasy Rider" by Charlie Daniels, who also has a song called "Longhaired Country Boy"
