Tuck it!

I just got my hair long enough for an almost ponytail. My hair is around 7" so I cann't get a pony down to my neck if I I want many hairs in it-I keep it midway on my head but all my side hairs and top hairs won't reach. What I do is tuck the side hairs that are shorter (ones around my ears) under the ones that are longer and in my hair band. Then I spray the sides and top with water and smooth them with my hands. It's not a perfect ponytail, but my hair looks "cleaner" people at work say.
