Apparantley, according to all the scientific resources I have looked at (?!?), hair growth rate is always constant no matter how long or short it is (approx 1/2 an inch per month OR 4 millimetres per day), it only SEEMS like it grows faster when it is short. For example, if someone who has half an inch hair all over their head then grows another half inch, the amount of hair on their head has doubled in total. If however, someone has hair 5 inches all over, and grows another half inch, their hair has only increased by one tenth of what it was previously, not one half as before.
(I hope u understand all that! But do not worry, as long as you get plenty of sleep, and eat right, your hair will grow the same rate forever!!!)
