Help , i want my hair parted

Hello , i am currently 12 years old , and i want to grow long parted hair . right now my hair is about 6 inches long , and its a bowel cut.
my hair is real fine and straight.so when i part in , it dont want to stay parted vary long !
please help

My hair naturally flops into a middle part. When I was your age my hair used to be parted in the midle, but just around your age I started wanting to have a side part. I found that by wetting my hair, parting it where I wanted, and then tying a towel round me head for a little while helped keep the parting for some time. Of course it would initially spring back, but in a few months my hair was used to staying with a side part, though one thing I couldn't prevent was to have the longer side falling forward into my face. And when I got a haircut, and the barber cut it with the side part it helped keep it.
When I was 16 again I wanted to part my hair in the middle. Now I found that the hair on the side where the parting was hitherto kept springing up. The old water and towel treatment, as well as the use of hair oil, helped. I also used to part my hair in the night before bed, and hold it in place with hair clips. As my hair grew, it stopped falling into my face, and the occasional haircut with the parting set helped keep it that way.
Since then I have grown my hair down to the middle of my back, and it is currently below shoulder length. As your hair grows longer you will find it easier to part it where you want to.
