Medium Wavy Hair

Hey guys, I have some questions about hair. I have wavy hair and I only want it at chin-length. Would chin-length be past the awkward stage? I currently would have chin-length hair if it was straight but it does all these huge curl up to my eyes. I figured it was only part of the awkward. I don't want to get my hair straightened becuase that causes hair damage, but I don't know what to do. Does anyone know if it gets better when it reaches chin-length? I am really desperate. Thanks for the help. Bye.

: Chin length is considered by most on this board to be right in the middle of the awkward stage. However for those with naturally straight hair chin length can be very stylish. If you have very wavy hair you might try a product by Sebastian called Spandex shampoo, I've heard Paul Mitchell's Str8 Out works too. I've been using Spandex for a couple of weeks now (every other day)with decent results. It's not a harsh chemical relaxer like in salons, it actually leaves your hair soft. Also leave in a good conditioner for up to 10 minutes after shampooing and rinse well. Good luck.
