Atkins diet / faster hair growth!

Wondering if anyone else has seen this - since starting on the diet, hair growth rate seems to have really increased! Since the total protein / fat of the diet turns on the metabolism, it seems to have really turned on the growth rate to ~ 1 inch + a month (didn't measure before as I didn't expect this effect) vs the ~ .5" I was seeing before.

I have also recently started the Atkins diet, but I'm not sure whether my hair growth has increased. I had already been taking Biotin and Fo-Ti prior to starting the diet, and I'm cheating a lot more now that I've lost most of the weight I wanted to lose originally. But that's good news if it is making a difference. :)
