Do the bangs grow slower than the rest of the hair?
I just measured my bangs and the hair on top, the results were 17.5 cm and 19.5 cm. I haven't cut either of them for about a year.
cheers,
james

Is this the first time you measured your hair or have you measured it before? It seems that 2 cm (0.8 in) is not a large difference. My bangs are also about 1 in shorter than the top.
It could most probably be due to that it started out that way (bangs shorter than top in a classic short haircut). You could then try cutting it all one length once your hair gets long enough to hang below your chin.

not the first time i measured, but the first time i compared the bangs with the rest..
I started out with all my hair about the same length (0.2cm or something like that;-))
That probably what I'll try to do.. Or when it reaches shoulder length..
cheers,

At least you got that far. My hair would grow to just beneath eyebrow level, and then it would seem to stop, when I was trying to grow long hair. I beleive hair on different parts of the head do indeed grow at a slower rate than the rest.
