Hello All,
Regretfully 4 yrs ago I cut off all my shoulderblade length hair to a clipper cut..I still don't why I did it..But I miss braiding and curling my hair so I think its time to get there again..Being a hairdresser I know it will only grow approx 6 inches per year..I guess good thins come to those who wait..Anyone else ever made the same mistake I did?
God Bless America,
Dan

I am very curious as to why it took you four years to realize you had made a 'mistake?' Had you thought it was indeed a mistake four years ago and let it grow out immediately, you would have had your hair to your shoulders again for two years already. I had shoulder length hair when I was learning to cut hair in the 80s. An instructor cut it somewhat short (businessman's cut), though not with clippers. I have never regretted it, and have actually gone with severe clipper cuts (and full headshaves) many times since. By all means, if you want long hair again, quit cutting it! ;-)

Yes,
I almost made the same mistake. Since I wasn't sure of totally cutting it short. I cut off at least 8inches of growth. I had hair just below my shoulders after the cut. I instantly regreted it and started growing it back. It is now mid-back length maybe slightly past. I cut mine on 4/15/2000. Just start growing it again, and It will get there. Try to think about other things. Do let this regret ruin your life. The past is the past. I don't know exactly why I wanted to cut mine. I was fighting with an ex-girlfriend. Maybe I wanted a change, maybe I thought it would make me look younger, maybe I thought it would attract more women. I don't believe hair has anything to do with those issues now.
Good Luck,
Darrin
