Is Pomade worth buying?

Hey Guys:
I've seen posts on here about pomade being good for controlling wavy hair and especially the flip in the back. Is this stuff worth the cash b/c i've bought 34345 different hair products and the only one worth buying is Pantenes leave in conditioner. Thanks.
