Either make a ponytail while your hair is wet either straighten them using a blowdrier.

You could go to your local hair salon and ask for a hair straightener treatment. I'm in hairdressing school right now and am learning about this stuff . . . there's the sodium hydroxide stuff used on ethnic hair (very strong stuff, can damage your hair-don't even think of using this at home) and a thioglycolate straightener which is mucho less damaging (it's similar to perm solution), and will get half to 3/4 of the curls out. Probably cost you a pretty penny, unles you happen to live near a hairdressing or barber school where it'll cost around $20 or so.
Good luck . . .
