Kurt Cobains hair

How would you describe Kurt Cobains hair? What hair type did he have? thick, thin or what? There are so many different types? The reason I want to know this is because his hair looks decent and I wouldn't mind knowing if mine will fall like that. I've had about 5 months of growth, from about 1cm, and I look like I walked right out of the 70s right now. (Oh yeh he was the lead singer from Nirvana).

He had thin, straight, coloured hair.
