I have a question for Victor. Do you trim your hair to remove split ends or to even it out. I have long hair, all one length, Another 6 inches, and it will be down to my waist. I had my hair trimmed in June. The lady took off very little. I was wondering if it is necessarity to trim it at all.
Thanks,
Darrin

Nope, don't think this much trimming is necessary.

The Barbar (is that right??), has told me that ! 1cm all 2 mounts, because the hair grows 2-3cm in this time !

I think YOU should be the one to decide when you want your hair trimmed
because barbers always cut more than is necessary and it will take you
much longer to grow your hair out. This is only my opinion but I
think you could have less trims and grow your hair faster.

I definitely agree with you. Could it just be possible that the barber wants the extra money from the trims? After all, if you let it grow and don't get many trims it cuts down on his income.

interesting comments above . . .
i think it depends on one's "long hair goals". if one wanted to get the longest hair he is genetically capable of, MAYBE he should trim as some way to keep the ends better, or something, maybe i do not understand that part. anyway, trimming is arguable, i am sure. however, i would personally rather just not cut it ever, and if it ends up being shorter than its full potential, that is fine. it will never set a world record, and i do not really want it to, so i will just let it grow and see what happens. :)
