Undercut now or when its grown?

If I was to want an undercut so it could be tied up or just loose, would it be better to undercut now (its not long enough to tie up yet) or when it is long enough to tie up?
If I was to do it now, it might make it hang better and look better when its growing, but im not sure?
So, should I undercut now or when it has grown?

i would say after its grown, because i've seen some people who got undercuts whilst their hair was growing and it looked so nasty.

i must agree, i say after it has grown. it can look kinda strange if it isn't long enough to tie back.

It will look much better when your hair is long enough for a 'tail.

Since you obviously intend to go for the undercut at some point, why not do it now? It just may help your hair to fall into place better. Then again, if you think you may want to experience all one length hair, you may just want to wait until your hair has reached your goal length. It's really your decision.
