I have hair down to my shoulders and in the back it gets longer. My hair is brown, kinda dark and curly. I love my hair. I'm thinking about getting red highlights. How much will this cost and how much damage will it do to my hair?
Thanks in advance.

I think red highlights, if done correctly, should look great on your brown hair, Trent. Find someone who has had a successful experience and results similar to what you would like--ask who did it and then make an appointment (am assuming you will be having a hair care professional involved). The cost depends upon the market area in which you are located (big city, small town, etc.). Damage? No "damage" if done correctly but you are changing the physical properties of your hair somewhat (every chemical service does). Calls for additional conditioner, that's all. Enjoy!

In the hairdressing school I go to, they'd charge $10 or so, and do a pretty good job, too. Dunno what the local salons charge.
