Sleek on top, dry bushy in back.

Why is it that the hair on top of my head and partially in the back is sleek and you can see the strands and comb it easily but then at the bottom in the back the strands seem to disappear into a sort of bushiness that flips up a little? Combing this part of my hair does pretty much nothing. It's weird, cause this hair differs so much from the hair above it.
What say you?

It's normal. I think it has something to do with supporting the the rest of your hair on the back. As it gets longer it gets longer it gets flatter though.

I think its because the hair on the bottom has a lack of oil. If you brush your hair from top to bottom your hair will be smoother and more managable. Girls keep long hair looking good like that.
