Wet Feeling Hair?

You know that feeling and control you have over your hair when it's wet?
I was wondering if there is anyway to get my hair to stay like that, any oils or something.
Does anyone know?

Why not experiment with the various goos and glops in the ethnic hair care section at Wal-Mart and let us know how it goes? If you read the labels on that stuff you'll find that most of it is made of various combinations of vaseline (petrolatum), lanolin, glycerin, and mineral oil, with a tad of scent or coloring to differentiate the product from its competitors. If you want your hair to behave like it's been to doggy obedience school (Down! Stay!), this is the stuff to use. It'll be icky and greasy and hell to wash out, but it'll stay put.
Let us know how it goes . . .

Hi, I think such substances would make hair "obedient" in the short-term but in the long-term, it'll cause hair to be brittle and easily breakable. The reason being that such chemicals (petrol-based compounds) simply "smooths" the cuticles down and seals it up (thus resulting in stick-straight hair). But this also prevents natural oils (often thought of as "water" for the hair, which is crucial for maintaining elasticity and softness) from penetrating the interior of the shaft, which result in an eventually "dehydrated hair" in the long run.
I would reckon it as a trade-off between short-term and long-term benefits :)
IMHO,
Jin
You'll need to spend some $$$

My stylist had me use this phto plankto marine stuff. I can't remember the name of it, but it's a lime green color and sold in salons. The stuff works wonders for my hair but it ain't cheap!
The smell is unusual. I used to call it "fish piss" because it just smelled like I would imagine fish piss to smell. But now the smell has grown on me and I actually like it!
