its turning brown

what is going on here. I have shoulder lenght hair that is blond and I swear its starting to turn brown, my dads hair is brown but my moms is the same blond that i got, how is this happening, I liked my hair when it was blond. Well atleast its not turning gray, also my dad is going bald and my moms dad and my dad dad is bald, am i determind to be bald, I will hate when that day comes. Well thanks, see ya

I have a dirty blonde hair that gets easily bleached blonde by the sun during the summer. Right now, I have a couple inches near the scalp (the new growth) which hasn't gone through a summer and is brown. My ends have seen 2 summers and are pretty light colored. As we go into summer u should see your hair become one color...blond.

My hair was very very blond as a chield.. now my hair is dark brown..
but if you are this age and still have blond hair, im sure the above person is correct

My brother had blond hair when he was young; till about first grade. Then it turned brown. It stayed brown all throughout high school
till about 11th grade it started turning darker till it became black. His hair is still black. My hair has always been brown but I wouldn't mind it turning black for I think it would look better. Yours could be doing something weird like that or it my be just because of the sun. I'm guessing the sun in this case.

Hair does have the ability to change color over time. My father was a bleach-blond haired boy, and now he has very dark brown hair (though he still calls himself a blond). My sister and I also were very blond children, now we both have auburn hair. I wouldn't stress about the color change, anyway brown hair is seen by ladies as sexier, while the blond is more associated with the ditzy jocks.

I know what you mean. My dad's hair is dark brown-black and my mom's hair is champagne/platinum blonde. My hair was light blonde as a kid,
but now it's in the dark blonde to light brown range. I use Sun-In on my hair to keep it light; it makes my hair kind of a strawberry-blonde.

Unfortunately, baldness is hereditary. I'm a little worried about that
myself. No one in my family is BALD-bald, but some of the men have receding hairlines and some of the women have thinning hair.

My advice would be to just have your hair colored. If your hair is turning brown and you want it blonde again, you can have it colored either professionally or you can do it yourself.
