This Survivor series also had a guy with curly hair, but he was soon voted out when his team lost immunity. Notice that Gabriel Cade had blond hair and was clean-shaven. Ethan Zohn had dark hair and a beard. Both wore glasses. Everybody voted Gabriel out. Nobody voted Ethan out.

ethan was clean shaven when he got there. so was this dude. ethan was there for 39 days without a shave. gabriel was only there like 9.

No, Gabriel didn't get voted out at the end of the third episode. In fact, he SURVIVED the first four episodes because his team kept winning the immunity idol. In the fifth episode, his team went to the Tribal Council, where he was promptly voted out. Therefore, he stayed on the island for five episodes or 15 days. Do you think that Gabriel would get a "five-o-clock shadow" by then?

has nothing to do with hair or shaving why he got voted out. It came down to gabe not playing the game. The others were not willing to keep him around if he was not willing to make alliances with them. If you want your ass saved on there you have to be willing to save some one elses too and let them know you intend to do so. Looks have nothing to do with survivor, they got rid of their best looking girl sarah. Its all about alliances at this point. I'm getting tired of the show, I think the 3rd one and the 4th one so far have sucked severely. I'm probably going to stop watching. If you want to see a good show, try the amazing race, its alot more exciting.

My point exactly! See? Both Ethan and Gabriel had balls of curls, but that does NOT mean that Gabriel will last as long as Ethan, AND YOU SAW THAT! I just want to prove that hair style will NOT determine the outcome of Survivor!

I had to correct something here, since he finally left after FIVE (not three) episodes!
