Bartending

I was recently laid off from my 9 - 5 corporate America job. I'm looking to enter the bartending field here in Los Angeles. I have shoulder length brown wacy hair, all one length. I don't foresee my hair being a problem, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts on bartenders with long hair?

Long hair is cool for a bartender. Dark Elf further down the board is a bartender and his hair looks great man.

I am a long haired bartender, age 41.
Let me tell you, and I know what I am talking about. Work in a bar with a lot of women, wear tight jeans, and for every inch you let your hair grow, you will see a 25% increase in tips....no lie! (Also true for gay men who may come in for a drink as well)

Congrats for getting out of the 9-5 ratrace. I think a long hair bartender would make more $ and be cool.

If death metal musicians can have long hair(Cannibal Corpse, Deicide), then bartenders have the right to have long hair in the bar scene. Long hair is in with bars and bartending scene.

Just make sure it is tied back.
