1970's Study

: This is a great board!!!!! I have a question. Has anyone heard of a study done in the 1970's which links long haired guys to big egos? I was watching a re-run of the Hollywood Squares and a question came up on this. Don't get me wrong, I like my hair long, and I don't care what kind of stereotypes people throw my way. I certainly don't mean to offend anybody on this board by asking this question. I just was wondering who did this study, how this study was done, and how the they came up with this conclusion.

I can vouch for that study. I have long hair and a HUGE ego. Of course, it's because I look so great. :D

I think my ego would be just as big without my hair the way it is. I cant blame me though.

Perhaps longhair is a "symptom" of a large ego, more so than the other way around. For example, someone who thinks highly of themselves is probably more likely to grow gorgeous, long hair than a self-concious individual who tries to fit in.
Or maybe us longhairs are just egotistical b*stards! :)
