Honey seals split ends?

I heard this on another post, is this true? If it is that's really cool, if not then it would be cool.

that it does,, washing your hair as normal towel dry it a bit then bring in your favorite honey bear and squeeze away, covering the ends in a syrupy mess then oddly enough blow dry the ends, then wash the honey out. Thus creating your hair to expand then collapse around the waxy concoction sealin the ends. Ofcourse its not a permanent fix but what is?

Nothing repairs a split end. Period. End of discussion.
