Dancing mullet man

Today there was a big party called the St-Jean-Baptiste. There was quite a bunch of people. It was outside.
While I noticed many shaved heads (and a lot of them looked gay), there was also surprinsingly a good portion of longhairs (and some of them looked gay too).
There was a band playing music. There was another stage near that place and a few people (maybe 4-5) were dancing there. But the center of attention, the person who stole the show was... A MULLET MAN!
A guy with a huge mullet was dancing there in front of EVERYBODY. He was indeed a good dancer, as his mullet was giving him the rythm. His mullet flowed with the music.
It is obvious that this guy would never do that WITHOUT HIS MULLET. Also, it is quite rare to see a guy with a mullet this young (He is 23).

While I appreciate the humor and the rarity of the young mullet you've spotted, you may get a lot of flack for some of these statements, as they sound fairly judgemental and I'm not sure that is what this board is all about.
Can you define exactly what "gay" looks like? Was it mannerisms? Was it mode of dress? Did these men have a strange blue aura surrounding them or were wearing pink triangles? Were they making passes at you or kissing each other?
My point is this: Gay men (and women) can have many different looks. I can take you to a steel workers union meeting and show you guys that are huge, masculine brutes that can kick anyone's ass, yet they are gay. Same for cops, firemen, construction workers, etc.
I can take you to a beauty salon and show you a very effiminate man who talks with his hands and dresses quite colorfully, yet is a straight man with a wife and kids. Same with doctors, lawyers, etc.
Who can say which of these people is straight or gay based on looks and more importantly: WHY DOES IT MATTER?
A person's sexuality shouldnt be important unless the person is someone you are interested in. It's 2002, not 1972.
