Excellent article. I didn't like the part where a sexist WOMAN told him he was "violating God's law". I wonder how many of "God's laws" this woman was violating? Of course, we can allow her to violate them because she is a woman, and they can get away with anything they want!!! I'm convinced their is no equality between the sexes.

Er... what is MOVE? Never heard of it - I'm sitting in a country that's closer to Afghanistan than to the US ;-)
See you in Khyberspace!

MOVE is a controversial black radical organization that began in Philadelphia (I don't know if it can be found elsewhere). Male and female members typically wear dreadlocks.

MOVE was a house full of black people in Philadelphia that got into minor squabbles with the city that came into the public consciousness outside of Philadelphia not because of what MOVE did, but because of what the city did. While attempting to arrest MOVE's members at their house, the city managed to set the house on fire and the fire destroyed an entire city block. You can read about it at the link.

That's because MOVE wouldn't MOVE ;-)

WOW!! I'm tempted to print off a bunch of copies and carry them with me, so then when somebody says something negative about my hair again I'll hand it to them. That article made me feel better!!! Just today at Wal-Mart a group of skinheads pointed at me and said "Look at that faggot."

Something I forgot to mention too, one of the skinheads was in one of my classes last year. After a few weeks he dropped out. Also he was always talking about taking drugs and stuff. I don't know why longhairs are always considered pot-heads because I've never actually met one. All the "dopies" I see all have short hair.

I had to laugh at this great article.
I, too, am a conservative Republican, and I work in a conservative business in a conservative office.
Further illustration that the possession of long hair means very little when trying to stereotype an individual.
