What is monoi oil?????

Hi peeps, can anyone tell me what monoi oil is? This is because I've heard it mentioned several times on the board and it sounds good! Also, where can u get it? At the mo I use a bit of Olive oil as it weighs/moistens hair pretty well on the day I wash it, but it gets a bit TOO oily the next day (which is annoying!). Is monoi oil better???
Thanks everyone.

OK monoi oil is Tahitian coconut oil (that is the main ingrediant),
macerated tiare flower and tiare fragrance. That is from the label on
the bottle. I don't know how it compares to olive oil but all I can
tell you is it works for me and I like it. You can get monoi oil at
Longhairlovers.com. You just need to use a very little bit at a time.
Hope this helps.
