Any other three-monthers?

I am now a three-monther (I estimate that my head was shaved April first). Now my hair is 5 centimeters long. Well, thats not long but thats a beginning! Every longhair must start somewhere! I won't trim my hair at all. Its cool, because right now, my hair does a natural spiked haircut in the wind. Any other three-monthers?

Here ;-)
I had the "10mm everywhere"-cut (I had that "look" for many years, cause it is convinient (i hope i spelled that word right...)") 2 Month ago and decided 1 Month ago to let it grow. I'm very happy that my hair grows quite fast (something like 2cm/month).
So u r not alone ;-)
Sorry for my bad english ;-)

TO ME what i am in now is akward stage hehe too short to do anything with but too long to spike and it just looks goofy hhee I have begun to part it in the middle to try to train it as it grows. I feel your pain my fellow young long hairs!

I have chin length now, it's definitely awkward. Basically, I started only shampooing my hair every 3rd day to keep it from poofing out and staying down. I just shampooed it today and the right side wants to completely stick out, which looks horrible, so I have to keep both sides behind my ears until it gets oily enough to stay down, it's obnoxious, but hang in there :-)

Well, I'm a 4.5 monther, so know that you're not alone in the struggle to atain long hair.
It was just recently that I tried to post some progress pics, but apparently there are conflicts with the hosting service, as it relies on ads and therefore doesn't want pictures linked to foreign pages.
Anyway, hop over to either URL if you are interested to see how I've progressed:

Well, I didn't start from a shaved head, but it's been about three months since my last haircut, and I'm just entering what everyone calls that awkward stage. Ugh. A year of this, I'm sure. Oh well. Something that was recommended to me and seems to work well is Mane & Tail conditioner - they make it for horses and I get it at the Wal-Mart in the pet section, but it's a great conditioner that leaves my hair fairly neat looking and managable through the day.
I'm really glad this board is here. Too many times I've succumbed to the frustration of that "growing out" period. Hope I make it this time!

My hair looks like Tony Danza in his 80s show that I forgot the name.

Lol I was just joking when I said that my hair looked like Tony Danza. Look at this picture : http://www.angelfire.com/celeb/tonydanza/danzatony.jpg
By the way, my hair is MUCH shorter than this picture.
