My mother is making me get my hair cut tomorrow. There is nothing I can say to change her mind. After some anguish we reached a mutual agreement for me to get it trimmed. I am really scared and there is nothing I can do. Well at least it will grow back. what shall I ask the hairdresser to do?

That sucks :(. Maybe you could just get it evened off so it's all level? How long is your hair now?

My mum makes me do that everynow and then, thats probably why it's been the awkward stage for so long. I get mine get at the back, this looks crap at first but when it grows out it looks nice and even. But then again it depends on how long your hair is.

My hair is an inch below my jaw at the front and shoulder length at the back. I realy don't want it cut as it is so long now. I can basically pu t it into a pony tail(with some effort) I wouldn't mind getting it evened off but I read some of the posts about getting it trimmed turning into loosing a couple of inches this really puts me off the idea. I just wanted to wait afew more months so that I could trim the split ends myself. Ireally hope it won't de that bad....

Tell the stylist to trim it 1 inch in the back, nothing else. And take a stand against pressure... my mom's been nagging about mine for the longest time, but so far I've held firm and she's all but given up convincing me to cut it.
