Most of the young guys going to colleges or universities are growing their hair longer while more working class guys are getting very short to buzz cuts.
twenty years ago it was the other way around.
anyone else notice this trend?
most?

are you a teacher? professor? guidance counselor? (student?) are you suggesting that in 2 years most 20 year old students will be sporting long hair?
most students entering college will do so at the end of august. i am curious as to how you've drawn your conclusion.

I'm at a university, and I've noticed that most guys now have normal length hair. Some have a trendy shaggy look, with sort of messy hair falling over their ears and forehead. Guys are growing their hair out in the sense that not long ago most guys had very short hair. There are a few guys with ponytails, and with what we on this board consider long hair, but I haven't really noticed more of them than a couple years ago.
The other change I've noticed is that bleached hair has lost popularity. Not long ago quite a few guys had completely or partially bleached hair, but I hardly ever see bleached hair any more.

Here in Richmond, Viriginia, most guys seem to have short hair, period.
The ones with long hair are usually considered "weird" people. Actually...where I live, pretty much only the weird people do grow their hair out.
But that's cool, 'cause I like weird people! It makes me feel better about myself.
