Okay. I'm a longhair with earrings, and im guessing that there are other longhairs with earrings that can help me. I have a question about the earrings. I've had both my ears pierced for about 4 or 5 months, and i have 10G earrings in them. The problem is, when i take the earrings out, they smell like poop. i have kept them clean this whole time, so why do they reek and how can i fix it?????

I've had both ears pierced ofr a little over 2 years and have never noticed a problem like this. How often do you take them out?
I have 3 or 4 pairs of earrings I rotate every couple days, plus I only wear hoops now, maybe either or both of these things would help

The smell you're noticing is a combination of tissue and oils that are trapped in the "tunnel" of flesh that the jewelry passes through. Although it is present in all ear piercings, it's not NEAR as noticable until you stretch. Once I got to 6ga, I HAD to find a solution, and I found that the easiest way is to wash the ear while showering, spinning the ring to get soap in the hole, and being VERY careful to rinse it fully. A quick fix is to rinse the ear with warm (not hot) saline, about 1/8 teaspoon salt to 8oz of clean water (it should taste no saltier than your tears). Once every week or two, try to get the rings out and soak them in peroxide or warm soapy water while you shower. That allows all the earfunk to be properly washed away. Hope I could help!
