Country Band Photo Shoot

Below is a photo shoot pic of a country band I used to sing back-up vocals and play bass guitar for. I am the guy on the far left end. The guy next to me is the lead vocalist Charlie Melvin. If you were in one room and heard him singing in another room, you would swear he was Alan Jackson. Very talented. The guy next to him is the drummer Donnie Wilham and next to him on the far right is the lead guitarist Dale Beavers. That was a very fun experience, but way to much time consuming for a married working father of three. Maybe when the boys are older I'll get back into the band thing. MAYBE! Besides now, that was the longest my hair has ever been. My hair is longer this time around though and will only get longer!

Thats cool dude! I'm not much into country music, but it's still cool that you were in a band.
Thank's Wolff!

Singing back-up vocals and playing bass guitar to country music is actually really fun to do. I love harmony vocals and country music offers alot of it. I had a dream last night that I met the contemporary bluegrass trio Nickel Creek and got to sing back-up with the lead vocalist on one of their songs call The Light House Tale. Check out their site and listen to some of their stuff, it's great music.
