Could use some suggestions

Ok, I've been growing my hair for around 10 months now and it is around 6 inches long. The problem is my hair is anything but straight, it curls like crazy and even after being combed it just springs back. I need some tips on how to wear my hair, I have no idea on what to do and up until now I have just been letting it do it's own thing, unfortunatly it is now getting too long for that (when pulled down it goes below my mouth but the curls keep it at around eye level normally). Any tips or pictures of similar hair would be greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

You need some kind of gel for now.
Frizz-Ease makes a product called "Wind-Down" which relaxes
hair curls a bit.
Some people recommend wearing a skull cap or knitted cap until
the hair sets straighter.
Good luck!

I also have wavy/curly hair. Gel is what got me through the awkward stage. Work some in when your hair is wet. Then style as desired. If you don't want the "wet look" then you can brush it out after it is dry. It won't look "gelled" but will still stay under control. Just make sure that you use a gel that doesn't contain any alchol, as that will dry out and damage your hair. I use Dep level 8 with good results.
Hope this helps.
