The downside to long hair?

In contrast to the 10 reasons to love long hair, I have one reason sort of not to.
It takes me a LOT longer to care for my hair now. I appreciate why it takes women SO long to get ready to go anywhere! :)

Hmmm, what?? I'm in the awkward stage, and there's barely a downside to that. So, to actual long hair? No way.

And its wavy as heck. I just let it do what it wants, and if it ends up big and wavy/curly then oh well. I've never been made fun of or insulted because of it.

The downside is at my ends, the upside is at my scalp, the side sides are to my left and right. This tends to be the norm when I am standing or sitting upright.

How long have you had long hair?
I ask because once you figure out how to take care of your hair (what conditioners to use, how frequently you should wash, should you use a flat iron, etc)...you'll find that it takes little time.
On any typical morning it takes me 30 minutes tops from the time I wake up to the time I leave the house. Of that, 5-7 minutes is tops for hair.
Once you figure out what works for your hair and how to care for it, you'll spend little time on it.
longhair can be quick & easy

It only takes me like 5 minutes to care for my hair each day. Wash with cool water daily and shampoo/condition once a week. I always let it air dry and brush it out before I wash it. Then do a quick combing after washing. That's it. Hairsprays and gels tend to attract more dirt which water alone won't take out. If u use these, your increasing hair care time cuz then u gotsta shampoo/condition a lot.
If u can tie back your hair that also minimizes how much dirt can get in your hair.
Hope this helps!
