Olive Oil Results...

Below is pic where I finally used olive oil on my
hair. I like the relaxed results. My hair normally
would only lay down like this when wet. I shampooed
and conditioned last night and slightly towel dried
and then applied the olive oil. I'm really pleased
with it. Thanks for the advise guys!

I also tried the olive oil treatment last night, and at first I was suprised by the stickiness. However, once I had styled it and let it air dry, I noticed a slight increase in color and shine! It added the almost wet look that I love, lasting throughout work last.
BTW, the yahoo group for discussing the Conventions now has twelve members! Anyone interested in the conventions, or just wanting to keep up to date on what's going on should head over to yahoo and give it a look.
Nice!

My hair likes to go crazy too when it's in the awkward stage. It looks like your hair is "behaving" now! Haha! Looks good!

Looks good,
Did you leave the Oil in your hair, without rinsing it out?
And how much did you use, I heard people say to use
no more then a tea spoon.

What I did was lightly towel my hair to get out the excess water and leave it damp. Then I apply the olive oil. I then just let it air dry the rest of the way. I gotta say I like how it behaves now and lays down better.

I left it in without rinsing it out. I thought about rinsing after it was in a while like I had read on this board somewhere before, but I didn't. I might try that sometime though. As far as how much I used? I filled the inside of one cupped hand, if that makes any sense. May be too much for some, but then my hair is really thick. Trial and error I suppose. GOOD LUCK!!
