My long hair and a future job interview

Hi, I have long hair, all one length, down to my collarbone length. I've worked for toyota logistics for almost 8 years and am thinking of a job change. I'm wondering if I should be worried about a future job interview which is in another state. The job would be an important move for my family. My hair is very clean, and neat, and I'm clean shaven, however I'm wondering what kind of impression I will make visually, regardless of how I dress or how my hair looks pulled back.
Any thoughts on long hair and first impressions with an interviewer?

Predjudice is not a regional, corporate, religious, or intellectual thing. It's very personal. One interviewer for the same company may be tolerant of Jews, Blacks, Longhairs, Seniors, Spicy-Food-Lovers, etc. while another may not be. The decision to be a longhair is a personal one, so is the decision to be an asshole. My belief is, "Be true to yourself, go after what you want, and take what comes." You do it anyway; might as well do it deliberately.

Your long hair is part of who you are. And if they can't accept you for who you are, then why would you want to work for them anyway. If it were me,I'd just put my hair into a neat tail, dress my best and be myself.

Just be yourself, be confident, and convince them that you are the right person to do the job. After that, nothing else should matter. If they are going to be stupid about your hair, then the chances are they are going to be stupid about something else sooner or later, and it won't be a happy expeience working for them.
I know, I've been there. The only job I ever had where hair was an issue I left after 8 months because the work environment wasn't pleasant.
... and good luck!
