Male-only hair products?

I know male and female hair are essentially the same thing. I was wondering though, if there was a hair care company that provided products, such as shampoos, conditioners, etc. which were meant exclusively for male's hair?
I've often wondered about that

...if males are xy chromosomes and females are xx...
then there must be a test to determine if it's male or
female hair??
But there still may be NO difference. I don't know but...
maybe somebody here does?

There is no difference between male and female hair.

I think you are wrong there. On average, female hair is slightly finer and denser. The average female has about twice the number of hairs on a nonbalding head than the average male. My daughter has about triple what I have.

Re: Male & Female hair:
Our chromosomes are a 46 volume set, and within each volumn there are many pages. 23 are from mommie and 23 are from daddy. Those from mommie and those for daddy are actuall in most cases redundant and only one half of the available chromosomes, or genes on these chromosomes are being used. This provides a safety factor for if we receive a defective gene from one parent, in most cases the intact one can be used resulting in no loss of form or function. Each cell in your body contains a complete set. But if you notice while reading your paper encyclopedia, you can not open every page at once. The equivalent of an open page is called "gene expression." Even in your heart, for example, there are genes for hair, but those genes are not expressed, since there is no need for hair in the heart. What is different in men & women are hormones, or chemicals which can cause genes to turn on or turn off, hence the difference in growth patterns of hair beginning in puberty and ending for many men in male pattern baldness, etc.
This is a very complext issue and without consulting the books I have used up my available knowledge, but I know what I am saying is essentially correct. Grab on to the idea of "gene expression"
whew!

Yep,sure is. I believe it's called American Crew. Has a cologne-like smell, and the bottles come in brown tones. Never used it myself, but I believe it's available at salons, as well as Wal*Mart.
Thanks
