Men's Long Hair Calendar
Posted by Webmaster on August 22, 2002 at 21:58:52: Previous Next
All,
Anybody up for a longhair calendar? Consider this a request for submissions. I haven't worked out the details yet, but I want to get submissions before it's too late. Normally, this would already be too late for 2003 calendars, but I'm not going to use normal calendar production techniques.
So let's have the submissions.
Submission guidelines:
* You must own copyright to the image or be able to provide proof that the picture is in the public domain. Editor (me) will have the last word on this.
* When you have a choice of format, the bigger the better. I will not impose a size limit as stock photo agencies do, because if nothing else, I can make collages from the smaller images. However, I want to ensure that full-sized pictures have good quality, so I will select them only from pictures with good detail: each individual hair must be clearly visible. What an easy benchmark, eh?
* Poetry or other artwork will also be considered for inclusion.
* Submission may be in electronic form. If submitting electronically, send email to MLHCalendar@the-light.com. I will include a selection of these to be included on their relevant days. Also, let me know if you want your birthday to be included on the calendar.
I hope to have the calendar ready for Christmas. Note that this is pretty darn soon, so get to it!

oh! you could also have year benchmarks for those who think they remember when they started. So on June 20-something you could type:
Alexander's last haircut anniversary (approx.)
Maybe that's too much...

What about pictures of ourselves? You could call the calendar, "Men of the Men's Longhair Hyperboard." I mean, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm dead sexy!

I think it's a great idea. I'd post a picture too! I started regrowing July 15, 2002.

Hi Rev! Yup, I unfortunately got lots of haircuts. I cut mine back in 1998. I guess the positive side is that I realized that I liked the long hair. Oh well, back to the drawing board! Haha! :)

Does that mean that you can't use driver's license or passport photos, because of the prohibition against counterfeiting ID?

Thank you; I'm pretty sure that we can get on calendars for 2003!
