haircut board, are they homosexual?

They make fun of us with long hair, yet how many long haired guys get together and play with each others hair? And post about it? At the haircut reserves They seem to like to shave each others heads, and post messages about it, and from the research I have done this is quite a fetish for some homosexuals. It has something to do with dominance. Well just my two cents. Not judgeing mind you, just shareing some enlighting thoughts.
what's wrong with homosexuals?

hmmmmm.....
gosh, this sounds pretty judgemental.
as a gay man who like guys with long hair and with shaved heads (and who has had both), I'm reminded that sexual (and non-sexual) interests in hair are in the eye of the beholder.
before making homophobic comments (or any hateful comment) I think we need to consider what it might feel like to walk in another's shoes.
so, if you don't like queer folk, consider the fact that some people aren't crazy about homophobic, ignorant, hateful folk, too.
I'll qualify that last statement. I don't know you. I don't know that you are hateful or ignorant. what I do know is that what you've written is homophobic; I have to question ehy you've written it. Man with lonh hair should be proud of who they are and not measure themselves against ideas that sat they are too feminine or, perhaps, gay.
Our identities are in our own hands. we should embrace who we are and how we want to represent ourselves. Hair is a powerful physical representation of identity. Don't use it as shorthand. It means what each individual defines it to mean,
Respectfully, Pete
I think what he meant...

I think he meant that a lot of the people on the buzzboard are homophobic and accuse people with long hair as being gay while they themselves engage in activity which can be seen as homosexual in nature.

Bingo, That was exactly what I was getting at.

OK, I understand better what you said and what you meant. Let me clarify a little more, too.
By using the same language and questions posed by the homophobes on the BBB, you're simply reinforcing the hatred inherent in their words. Asking the question implies that there is something wrong with being gay.
I have no doubt that you are a man of good will, so I won't beat a dead horse. I agree with the earlier post, don't take the BB folks so seriously. They are dealing with their own insecurities.
cheers, Pete

ya know, I only read part of this (and I also just got here lol)
but as I was reading (the little bit I did read) I had a thought.....
I dont think Ive ever known a gay man to have long hair, unless that
is if they are also a transexual (which is something all together different) I do however think that alot of these "homophobes" (as someone called them) may have some fear about their own feelings.
It may be a more accurate statement, that some men are too insecure about their own state of being, to risk growing their hair long in fear someone will accuse them of being gay themselves.......
maybe all these short hair guys have no penix's and minds full of feminine thoughts lol (at least some of the ones that seem so closed minded with their view on the issue)
Personally Im pretty secure......I just wish I could find a better hair style................its pretty hard to even get some of these hair stylist to even get a grasp on what Im trying to say sometimes, and there are almost no good pictures to show them......Ive been trying for years to invent styles...I always go in with a plan and an idea and try to explain (sometimes they get it close), but mostly they just accuse me of asking them to do something thats "too complicated" <- Ive heard that one just a few too many times
Many times Ive given up (especially after getting a female looking style sculpted on my head), and gone ahead and had it shortened a bit for a while......... I always come back to long though ............. maybe one of these days Ill find someone that can actually understand what Im saying and be willing to give it a try
Just seems like if the cut takes more then 15 minutes they arent too interested............kinda makes ya wonder........hey yeah its gonna take a little while to cut it this way but uhh Im gonna have to walk around for quite a bit longer with it on my head heh, and why was it ok a minute ago to spend half the day with that woman.......kinda descrimination if ya ask me........
the romans were the 1st to invent short hair (as a society)
it was for the military, so the soldiers wouldnt get pulled down by a hand full of hair. this is also why its associated only with men as only men were soldiers, and which is also how we end up with some people associating it with a sign of stregnth or etc etc
short hair doesnt make you a man or strong (in case anyone didnt know that) buncha dumbasses............
shame society is this way............

Pete, I meant nothing negative about homosexuals. I was simply saying they keep antagonizing longhaired guys saying how feminine or gay they are because of long hair. When I keep reading in their posts about shaveing each others heads and they get so excited about doing it like it is some sort of fetish. So I did some research about forced haircuts and I found out this stuff. I just thought it was very hipocritical on their part.
I do not have a problem with homosexuals at all. I acept everyone as they come. Please don't missinterprit my message. Sorry if I hurt any feelings

"...can't reproduce?" Cute. I guess you can't either as you've shown what sort of b@lls you have by not even putting your name or email behind you "joke."
And as far as gays not being able to reproduce, son, do you even have a clue about the real world? Gays have been able to reproduce just fine, thank you very much. Used to be it required a donor and a turkey baster. Now it's a lot more sceintific than that. And a lot more effective too.
: They cant reproduce! hahah
Now, if your post was truly intended as a joke then you've much to learn about putting stuff up on the Web in an effective manner.

There's probably long-haired gays that "play with each others hair", and there are probably short-haired gays that do the same. There's role play, gay "forced haircut scenes", big bouffants, drag queens with their own hair, etc, etc.
There's probably straight guys that like their long hair pulled, like it "forcebly" shaved off, like their head bald, like to shave their entire bodies, like their hair greasy and grungy or squeeky clean, etc, etc.
Even if straight guys get together and do "forced haircuts", it's probably just some kind of thinly veiled - albeit potentially violent - way of working out their own homosexual tendancies. Or, MAYBE NOT.
What difference does it make?
It's called DIVERSITY. Celebrate it, but don't dwell on it too long.
I realize that you probably arent judging gays, but if at all possible, don't fall into the trap of "they said this and I don't like it". That's exactly what people like that want: Controversy and Attention.
Don't give it to 'em. Ignore them. And if you can't, just stop visiting their board. If you are long-haired, what's the point of going to a short-hair board anyway? If you want a debate, just start one here.
haircut board.....he..he

HOMOphobia vs. HOMOnegativity...

I've noticed that some people are shifting AWAY from using the term...
...'HomoPHOBIA' which basically means 'fear of gays' to...
...'HomoNegativity' which might be a better all around definition.
I also agree that the length of HAIR--by itself--is not really an issue.
