Just for clarification, what do you mean by stays with you? Reason I ask is I've tried some shampoos that kept building up in the hair and had to use some stronger stuff to get the buildup out.

I like Aussie Moist shampoo followed by Aussie Moist conditioner.

Aussie products are very awesome. Love everything they put out. The "mega" shampoo is great for long hair.

I've never seen anyone on this board mention baby shampoo. Is it bad or something? I use it because I HAVE to shampoo everyday. I'm a welder and I get all sorts of crap in my hair from welding smoke to grinding dust. It does get really unmanageable after shampooing, but what's the alternative besides gritty, smelly hair?

I've heard that something like the pH of baby shampoo is not a good match for adults. That surprised me, so I'm a bit curious myself. If it works for you, though, I can't see a reason not to use it.

I use this stuff made my "Avalon Organics." It's all natural, with no ammonium or sodium laurel/laureth sulfate. Uses herbs and stuff. Cleans good, but is not nearly as harsh as any other shampoo I've tried. Smells really good too, but it doesn't seem to wash the scalp as good. I love the stuff though. There is another brand called "Aubrey" that I've heard is good. I don't use conditioner. My hair is oily enough, and that's a better conditioner than anything.

I use Senscience shampoo and conditioner, and then use Paul Mitchell (sp?) leave in conditioner. My hair is wavy and tends to get fly away strands (horns at times) so the extra conditioner seems to tame it a bit.
I can also tell a difference if I wash in water that's too warm, as the hair gets even lighter/more fly away.
I have to wash my hair almost daily.
